I've always wondered what is it that makes these business tycoons what they are. Is it their ability to coax people to do things for them? Or the ability to keep their sub ordinates happy and at the same time reaping benefits. We look at them in awe. Pondering over their habits, their secrets, their thought processes. Everything possible that defines them. All the factors that give them their identity and the adjective of "successful".
No man or woman can make it up to the pinnacle on their own. At the same time, the glory and fame is never equal to members in a group, although the team effort is what brought them the accolades. The glory and fame is proportional to the contribution of the individual. Even though Team India won the T20 cup two years ago, it was Captain Downright-Lucky who got all the attention. Another perfect Rags to Riches story. From all this what i draw upon is that, in today's world, one needs to form a nexus, a circle of trust to stand united through thick and thin. What dazzles me is the enormity of the nexus formed by the people at the top.And we know, that Birds of a feather flock together. A great unit is formed only when minds of the same wavelength meet. The conglomeration of similar thinkers brings about great progress and builds strong bonds. But one has to wonder. In a world of six billion beings, each distinct in their own way. The art of forming that perfect team is but arcane, known to an elite few.
A conundrum that some people my age have cracked. The answer, is ineffable. It's a long way to the top, if you want to rock and roll. But once you have the epiphany, the journey ain't so long afterall. What you acheive is just a subset of what you are destined to acheive. And for those of my friends who are on this path to eternal glory, I respect thee..
